Turn the Lamp On
Let His Light Guide You
Psalm 119:105
A Little About This Book
Most mornings, when I sit down to spend time with God, it's still dark outside. The house is quiet, and no other lights are on. I reach over to turn on my lamp.
And then there is light.
That simple moment became the inspiration for Turn the Lamp On.
I began writing these little devotionals from the questions I was asking, the Scriptures I was wrestling with, and the things I was discovering during my time with God.
But I didn't want this to be another book where someone simply reads what I've learned. I wanted to invite you to open your own Bible, spend time with the Lord, and discover what He might be showing you.
Each reflection begins with Scripture, offers a little context, shares what I was wrestling with and what I found when I stood up, and then gives you space to reflect for yourself.
You don't have to have everything figured out before you sit down.
Just turn your lamp on.
Work in Progress
I'm continuing to write and develop this devotional collection. I'll be sharing more from its pages as it comes together.
Stay Connected
Stay awhile.
If something you've read, heard, or wondered about here has connected with you, I'd love for you to stay. I'll share some of what I'm writing, what I'm learning, songs and projects I'm working on, and probably a few things I'm still wondering about along the way.
I don't want this to become more noise in your inbox. I simply want it to be another place where we can keep the conversation going.
