My Story | His Glory is owned by My Story_His Glory, LLC, based in Missouri, United States. Shanna D. Olds is the owner and author. This policy covers reading the site, using its free resources, joining Stay Connected, and following external links.

The website shares original writing, photography, music, devotionals, and resources intended to encourage others and point them toward God. It welcomes adult men and women seeking faith-based encouragement, personal reflection, spiritual growth, and a deeper relationship with God. It is not specifically directed toward children.

Stay Connected and Kit

The optional Stay Connected form asks for your first name and email address. When you submit it, the website validates those fields and sends them through its server to Kit, the email service used for My Story | His Glory email updates. Kit stores and manages subscriber information; the website does not keep a separate subscriber list.

Joining Stay Connected is a request to receive the stories, reflections, encouragement, and project updates described beside the form. After you sign up, Kit sends a confirmation email, and clicking its link confirms your signup. The thank-you message on the website means your submission was received by Kit; it does not confirm that the confirmation email has arrived or been clicked.

Kit processes subscriber information for email-list management and delivery. Any welcome or follow-up emails are sent through Kit. Kit explains its own practices in its Privacy Policy.

Unsubscribing and email tracking

Emails sent through Kit include an unsubscribe link you can use to stop receiving email updates. You may also contact the address below for help.

Emails sent through Kit may measure whether a message is opened, using a small tracking image, and whether links in it are clicked. Kit may also add tracking information to links. You can limit open tracking by blocking images in your email application.

How long information is kept

Subscriber information will be retained while someone remains subscribed, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements. Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not necessarily delete all subscriber information or records.

Contact information and messages will be retained only as reasonably necessary to respond, manage correspondence, and maintain required records.

Privacy or deletion requests may be sent to hello@mystory-hisglory.com. Immediate or complete deletion is not promised where applicable legal retention obligations or service-provider limitations apply. Hosting, email, and other service providers keep information according to their own retention practices.

Free resources and contacting me

The available printable resources can be viewed and downloaded without entering an email address. Viewing or downloading one does not sign you up for Stay Connected, and resources are not delivered by email.

Email links open your own email application. If you send a message, your email address and the information you choose to include are handled by the email services involved. The Share Your Story submission option is marked Coming soon and is not an active form. Please do not send information you need to remain confidential.

Website services, analytics, and cookies

The website is hosted through Lovable. Pages, photographs, and PDF files are delivered through hosting and file-delivery services. Requests to these services can include an IP address, browser or device information, the requested address, and request timing. These services may keep logs for security, troubleshooting, and operation, and website errors may be logged to help fix problems.

The hosting platform may provide visitor analytics that measure overall traffic, such as visits, page views, referring sources, device categories, countries, and visit duration. Lovable describes this analytics as overall traffic measurement, without building visitor profiles or following people across separate visits. See Lovable’s analytics documentation.

The hosting platform may set a technical cookie (for example, one named __dpl) as part of delivering the website, and your browser’s session storage is used to restore your scroll position between pages. The website itself does not use advertising pixels or set its own preference or marketing cookies.

The website serves its fonts locally. YouTube videos do not load until you choose to play an individual video. Playing a video connects your browser to YouTube, which may use cookies and collect viewing data under its own policies. Players use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed address, which reduces but does not eliminate tracking. You can leave videos inactive and continue using the rest of the website.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings.

External websites

Links and sharing options can take you to Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, Kit, or other websites. Their privacy practices are separate from this website’s. Visiting or interacting with those services may disclose information to them; review their policies before using them.

Your choices and privacy questions

You can read the site and download its available printables without joining the email list. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails or send privacy and deletion requests to hello@mystory-hisglory.com. Depending on where you live, privacy laws may provide rights concerning access, correction, deletion, or objection. Requests are subject to applicable law.
