My Story | His Glory

You Are Enough

Before the world told you who you should be, you were already worth knowing.

I think about the things I wish I had understood when I was younger, especially how easily we can allow the people around us and the things we experience to shape what we believe about ourselves.

I want You Are Enough to be a place where teenage girls and young women feel loved and understood. A place where you can recognize that someone else has walked through some of the things you're facing, and that you don't have to figure everything out on your own.

I also don't want you to question whether your story is big enough to matter. We have a tendency to compare our struggles to what other people have experienced and convince ourselves that what we're going through isn't important enough to talk about. But I don't believe we should have to measure our pain against someone else's before we're willing to share it. Even the smallest experiences can leave deep scars when we allow them to shape our understanding of who we are instead of discovering the truth for ourselves.

That's why I want to share the things I've learned, the questions I've asked, and the things I wish someone had helped me understand sooner. Not because I've experienced everything you might be facing, but because I know what it feels like to lose sight of who you are and how important it is to find your way back.

My hope is that somewhere in these words, stories, and conversations, you'll begin to recognize the person you were created to be, rather than the person the world has told you to become.

Your story matters here, too.

I want this to be a place where you can ask questions, share what you're walking through, or simply tell someone what's been on your heart. You don't have to have everything figured out, and you don't have to know how your story ends before you begin talking about it.

I can't promise I'll have every answer, but I do want you to know that your story matters and deserves to be heard.

And I want you to know something else. Whether your story remains private or you eventually choose to share it with others, I will pray over what you've entrusted to me. Your story doesn't have to be published to have a purpose, and it doesn't have to be shared publicly to be worthy of prayer.

If you're ready, I'd love to hear from you.
